3/3/09

So far I've chosen a piece of art, but I don't really know anything about it.
The guy who made it is Henri Rosseau. He's French.
It's a picture of a lion sniffing a sleeping lady in the desert. I think there are a lot of different ways to interpret it, but personally i think the lion's just curious and watching the lady.
I like the colors because they stand out in specific places, and the style of painting makes it kind of look like things are carved out of wood.
Next I should probably research it a little more.
