Today I made a rough draft of my written description, and I put a picture of my painting up.
I also looked through a few websites. I didn't read too far into any of them, but I saved the sites so I can go back later. Basically right now I'm just getting general information about it. I want to find out more about what Rousseau liked to paint, and the kind of thing he was interested in. I think that'll help me get his impression of the piece, which would be nice to know.
I think the painting I chose was really good for this assignment because I haven't had any problems yet. It's well known enough to get good information, and I think it's really interesting. I haven't gotten sick of it yet, either. I just really like it.
Next I'll probably edit my written description a little, and start thinking about how I want to do my presentation.
